Information We Collect and How We Collect It
The personal information we collect depends on nature of our relationship with you. As a user of our systems we may only need to collect your name, email address and password. We also collect payment details from the administrative managers that access our systems.
We collect this information in a variety of ways, including from web forms, technologies like cookies (see below) and anonymous usage statistics and application error reports sent automatically from your computer or other device. In addition, client administrative managers using our systems may enter your name and email address in order to grant you access to our system.
Additional personal information, including phone numbers and addresses, can optionally be provided by yourself or by client administrative managers. These details are not required to use the systems.
We also use web beacons to help deliver cookies and compile analytics. These may include third-party web beacons, which are prohibited from collecting your personal information.
You have a variety of tools to control cookies and similar technologies, including:
- Browser controls to block and delete cookies
- Controls from some analytics providers to opt out of data collection in web beacons
In order to use our applications cookies are required. If you disable them you will not be able to log into the system.
How We Use Your Personal Information
Northern Advisory uses the information collected to operate our applications and improve service. Your information will most likely be used to communicate with you about the application you are using, for example, informing you of technical updates, functionality updates and improvements or application performance.
This information also informs us of system problems or errors and enables our team resolve these issues as quickly as possible.
Disclosure of Personal Information
Any contact details, including your provided name, email, and any optional details such as address or phone numbers, will be made available to other users with access to Committees that you also belong to.
We do not share personally identifiable information with sub applications or service providers, except in the case of credit card payment processing where our payment provider requires it for anti-fraud purposes.
We may provide your personal information to call centre operators in order to provide technical and customer support services.
Except as described in this privacy statement, we won't disclose your personal information to a third party without your consent. The only instances where your personal information will be supplied to third parties is when Northern Advisory is compelled by law, to respond to legal process, to combat fraud, protect our interest or to protect lives.
Accessing Your Personal Information
Northern Advisory web applications all contain a "My Account" tab which enables users to change their personal information. If you are an account manager of one of our services you can also access and update any payment details
Northern Advisory does not currently offer advertising services to third parties. Northern Advisory may choose to do this in the future and will update this Privacy Statement when that occurs.
Northern Advisory may send you promotional material, to opt out of receiving this material follow the instructions contained in the message received.
Northern Advisory currently stores information in overseas locations including Singapore and the United States. None of your personal information is disclosed to parties in those countries.
